VD/VOD Refining FurnaceVacuum degasser, vacuum degassing plant, vacuum degassing furnace vacuum oxygen decarburization furnace, Vacuum Refining Furnace OverviewThey are used for liquid steel vacuum refining, including tank cover type and tank car type. VD/VOD ladle refining device consists of fixed vacuum tank or vehicle-mounted tank type, vacuum tank cover, vacuum charging device, oxygen blowing device (referring to VOD), electric automatic system, vacuum pipes, de-dusting device and vacuum pump etc. Function1).Producing high quality low alloy steel, mild steel, bearing steel, structural alloy steel, stainless steel, mould steel, tool steel, ultra-low-carbon steel and the steel of strict limit on gas, mixture and chemical composition.2).Vacuum charging and fine alloy composition adjustment. Vacuum charging and fine adjustment for alloy composition3).Vacuum degassing.4).Vacuum oxygen injection for decarburization.5).Bottom argon blowing and stirring. Characteristics1),The vacuum tank is sealed with monolayer hollow seal ring and protected by cooled water.2), The butterfly structural seal head result in a high strength and stress evenly.3), The moving speed of vacuum tank car is controlled by frequency converter speed regulation.4),The reducing of off-gas temperature and airflow rate result from water cooled vacuum tube.5).The manual sight glass of observation window equipped with noble gas protection and frequency flicker device.6).Manual temperature sampling and charging.7).The oxygen injection device equipped with special seal mechanism which result in less wear and leakage proof. It also contributes to oxygen lance adjusting.8).Argon blowing and stirring.9).Equipped with PLC control system. Mechanical pump type VOD/VDOperation process for the vacuum pumping equipment of combined mechanical pump group, namely AE vacuum furnace combined smelting process, adopts water-cooled vacuum pipe and water-cooled multi-pipe for cooling, AE three-stage coarse filter and AE four-stage fine filter for dedusting, including argon system, instrument system, water system and air system; main equipment: vacuum tank, vacuum cover, vacuum cover car, oxygen lance, vacuum loading, tank cover lifting and driving, VD/VOD electrical equipment IPC+PLC controlling, coarse dedusting cooler, fine dedusting, water-cooled piping part I, II, III & IV, energy saving for 85% above, vacuum degree reach to 67Pa below, pump group limit vacuum degree reach to 5Pa below, saving the floor space for 60% above, capable of start and stop at any time, easy & convenient maintenance, low failure rate and low primary investment.Our special AE technology together with advanced AE- VDVOD furnace is capable of vacuum degassing, argon blowing mixing, alloy adjustment and long-term service. Molten steel processed by VOD refining furnace could not only save the energy but also reduce the hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen content of the steel, making the inclusions float up and Sulphur content reduced, with no steam reverse osmosis (especially the start & stop pollution), and without the risk of unstable vacuum degree caused by unstable air pressure, mechanical pump is controlled by stable power, hence the steel cleanliness and alloy effect are guaranteed. As a consequence, AE-VDVOD furnace is capable of refining bearing steel, tool steel, die steel, forged steel, high temperature alloy steel, military steel, large casting, Cr and Ni series stainless steel, and other steel with higher quality requirement.
